My Experience & Approach
I have over 10 years’ HR experience and hold a CIPD Level 7 qualification in Strategic People Management.
I’ve worked across the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, policy development, and leadership support. My approach is calm, practical, and people-focused, offering straightforward HR advice that protects your business while supporting your team.
I believe good HR should feel accessible, fair, and proportionate, not overwhelming.

Many small business owners want to “do things properly” but don’t always have the time, resources, or in-house expertise to keep up with employment law and people management.
I started HR by TJ to provide flexible, tailored HR support that fits the reality of running a small business. Every document and every piece of advice I provide is shaped around your business and explained, so you feel confident applying it in practice.
A Bit About Me
Based in Tadworth, Surrey, I enjoy running, exercising, and spending time outdoors. I’m a mum to Amelia and the wife of Luke, who runs his own physiotherapy clinic.
I understand first-hand the balance of work, family, and growing a business, and I bring that empathy and realism into the way I support my clients.
